I have the attention span of a fly. My mind quickly soars from one thing to the next. I also have an uncanny ability to focus clearly on one thing and drown everything else around me out. Well, this talent often becomes a nuisance when I am in the car listening to the radio. I enjoy talk radio...mostly b/c it keeps me from listening to the same songs over and over again.
I don't know how many times I think that I have heard something only to wish that I could rewind and listen again. Or...how many times I have left the car running to run into a store only to come back mid-way through a great story...or a great song...wanting, no, wishing, that I could rewind to the beginning.
If we can have DVRs for television, why not radio? It's not like the technology isn't there. Best guess...and I am sure that I am somewhere close to the target...is that it has something to do with the artists and royalties. This is something that I have been thinking about for awhile and am now finally putting it into words. A radio DVR would be great and I wish that I could have one...
